Upcycled Scarf

I have so many t-shirts that are in great condition but I don't wear them any more.  
I found a way to up-cycle them:
I made a scarf.  It was pretty simple.

First, pick the colors you want to use.
Next, cut your t-shirts to the width you want your scarf.  Cut the pieces to various lengths. 
I cut my pieces 5" wide to anywhere from 2 1/2" to 6" long. 
Lay the pieces out like this...
Place them in the order you think looks good.  There is no right or wrong way.
 Next, serge them together and then again on the outside edges. 
*If you don't have a serger machine you can zig zig stitch the edges with a sewing machine.*
Voilà
