Entry Way

This is my new entry way.  I love it so much.  Our nephew, Chase, is amazing with the mitre saw! 

This is the pic that I sent him from my phone saying "Can you build something to help me organize this mess?"

*I put a remnant of carpet over my linoleum for the winter to collect the snow and ice melt. I am tired of ruining rugs! I think I might leave it - I actually like it!

Nesting?

What is it with the after Christmas organization?  I literally have tossed/donated  9 garbage bags of junk.  Where does it come from?  When I go through my home, I like to imagine that I am moving.  Do I really need it?  Is it worth saving?  I tell my girls that everything has a spot.  If it wont fit on the shelf or in a drawer then it must go.  I literally am turning into my mom (this is a good thing)! 





I needed a drawer in my bathroom
(for the little stuff) so this is what I came up with!



*One thing that I like to do with my clothes, is turn all my hangers backwards.  When I wear something I turn the hanger around when I hang it up.  If after 6 months the hanger is still backwards obviously I don't like it so it is donated. 

Now I have to finish what I started.

New Camera Toy

I purchased this tri-pod ($7) at Ross right before our trip to Chicago. It came in handy. It is small enough to fit in my purse and can wrap around anything. It is perfect for travel.

Want To Run?

Try this book Beginner's Guide to Long Distance Running by Sean Fishpool .  I actually haven't read this book but my friend, Jen, found this book and loved it.  Two years ago she emailed me the training schedule and this how I started back into running.  It is the best way to not get discouraged.

Can A Girl Have Too Many Pettiskirts?
